Explore God – Call to Prayer – Does Life Have A Purpose?

Dear Heavenly Father,

As we ponder the first question of Explore God, “Does Life Have A Purpose?” we see that Your word tells us that “You have set eternity in the hearts of human beings” and we are so thankful and grateful that You have.   And we ask, Dear Father, that you would confirm the sense of eternity you have placed in our hearts, the underlying longing that there has to be something more to our existences, and the feeling that there must be a purpose for our lives, in the hearts and the minds of those we are praying for and inviting to Explore God with us.    As You guide us to reach out to those You are calling, may more and more people join us in the Explore God discussions at Trinity and throughout Chicagoland.  Please lead us all in knowing You, and discovering our purpose in Your most glorious master plan.

 In Jesus Name, we pray.

Ecclesiastes 3:11  (NASB)

God Set Eternity in the Heart of Man

11 He has made everything [a]appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, [b]yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
