Scripture Reading
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
– 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NIV

When has God blessed you beyond measure? How did it feel? How did it feel?

In John 3:16, we hear of God’s gracious love, “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

WOW, that speaks volumes about how God feels about us. He gave His only Son so we could be saved. God is a wonderful provider—He loves us so much and provides generously for us each day. It’s good to stop and think about what God has done for us. It is by his design that we are here together at this time, in this place, worshiping beside our family in Christ. What great gifts God provides, and so we are blessed. With these blessings, comes the opportunity to bless others. Perhaps it’s a smile or kind word we share, making a meal for others who are hungry, or paying a bill on behalf of a neighbor in need. All the things we do for others are blessings to them. When people are blessed and loved, they share the kindness they have received. So, each day look for new opportunities to bless others!
Just imagine… What God could do if we all trusted Him to provide for our needs and shared generously with others.

How can you pray to continue being a blessing to others? How can you bless others with what God has done for you?

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon me, and for the future blessings yet to come. With those blessings, I ask for Your everlasting guidance and strength so I may be a blessing to others, even when life is challenging to me. Forgive me for those times when I may not have shared, or shared enough. Keep me on the path of living and loving generously. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!
