Pastor Keith and Paula Speaks were born and raised in Loami, Il., a small town southwest of Springfield. They are graduates of New Berlin High School. They have three sons and three grandchildren.
Pastor Keith is a 1987 graduate of Concordia, River Forest. He is a 1990 graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He has served congregations in Iowa, Texas, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and now, Illinois. Pastor Keith is a graduate of Pastoral Leadership Institute (PLI) Core, and (GET) Governance and Executive Training. He is also a certified Intentional Interim Pastor. FiveTwo (a ministry that helps congregations get unstuck and on mission, turning around downward spiral) is certifying Pastor Keith as a Congregational Catalyst.
